To an Angel

To an angel, i do write, that this event cannot be right as i look to heavens and i call you name and i scream as the tears roll down my cheeks like a stream, as i sit in the living room looking to the garden i see a rose all alone nothing to comfort it , as it slowly dies away to the winters frost and i think that i am alone , that my grief shall never subside, i feel empty alone , a void within my soul, all the times we spent chatting , i felt a warmth as i spoke of you  , you were always there when i needed a friend, i knew i could find you there , with a smile on your face , you would make me laugh. your personality was like a burst of radiant sunshine on my life, and now i find that the sunshine has replace by rain clouds as the earth itself mourns you , you will always be there in my memories as those memories shall be the strength that you once gave me to go up against the world and say "bring it", with the memories of your smile, the conversations we had , me getting into trouble for staying up til the early hours of the morning just so i could continue to talk , they will be with me , everytime i close my eyes i see you , and i think to myself that you are always going to be with me in spirit in memory and in my dreams , as we dance together , laughing , you were my best friend , and more you were like apart of me , and now in your passing i have lost a friend and a part of my soul, i wish you were still here, i want to wake up and see that this is a dream, i want to go on MSN and see you online and tell me " well what have you been up to Paulie" i want you to be here wiping the tears from my cheeks, but i know you want , and that is the hardest  pain i can feel.
